What is WD-40 Specialist?

WD-40® SPECIALIST™ RUST REMOVER SOAK
Dissolves rust quickly without harming surrounding parts, trim, gaskets or paint. It restores surfaces to bare metal without scraping, chipping or scrubbing. For light rust, leave parts in 1-3 hours and for heavy rust, leave parts in overnight. This non-toxic and biodegradable formula is effective on small or large items that can be soaked.
WD-40® SPECIALIST™ WATER RESISTANT SILICONE LUBRICANT
Safely lubricates, waterproofs and protects metal and non-metal surfaces, including rubber, plastic and vinyl better than leading competitors. It dries fast and leaves a clear, non-staining film that doesn’t stick or make a mess, so it won’t attract dirt. Effective in a temperature range from 100° F to 500° F, it’s ideal for use on cables, pulleys, guide rails, valves, linkages, hinges, locks and more, and is 50-state VOC compliant.
WD-40® SPECIALIST™ LONG TERM CORROSION INHIBITOR
Protects and lubricates metal parts, blocking rust and corrosion for up to one year outdoors and two years indoors. It is ideal for both preventative maintenance and use in extreme environments such as high humidity. Safe to use and 50-state VOC compliant, it provides non-drying lubrication that stays where you spray it.
WD-40® SPECIALIST™ PROTECTIVE WHITE LITHIUM GREASE
Is ideal for metal-to-metal applications that require heavy-duty lubrication and protection against rust and corrosion. WD-40® SPECIALIST™ RUST RELEASE PENETRANT
Penetrates deep into crevices, threads and seams to break the bonds that hold stuck parts together. It also leaves behind a protective layer and helps prevent rust and corrosion from re-forming. Containing Blu TorchTM Technology, a proprietary blend of synthetic additives, it quickly goes to work on rusted nuts, bolts, threads, locks and chains. Typically, the desired goal is the same as in cleaning air-cooled condensers, removal of greasy dirt and grime and designed capacities. If an acid based product is desired, where some brightening and foaming is wanted, use Cal-Brite followed by a thorough rinsing.
