QT2000 QwikCheck Acid Test Kit
QwikCheck® is ideal for preventive maintenance checks and for verifying proper acid clean up. The QwikCheck® indicator paper is golden yellow before testing and will turn pink or red upon being exposed to as little as 1 part per million (PPM) of acid.

QwikCheck Before and After
Directions
- Insert the valve core depressor into the center of the suction side of the vapor service valve while the system is operating.
- Allow vapor to flow through the QwikCheck® for 3-seconds. If the indicator paper does not change color, hold for another 3-seconds. If the indicator paper still does not change color, inorganic acid was not detected.
- If the indicator paper changes color slightly, add QwikShot® to remove the acid. If the paper turns red, the acid level is very high. Change the oil and the filter-drier, and then add QwikShot®.
