The RESCUE EcoTech motor is an ECM replacement for a PSC blower. Exclusive speed-control technology provides the efficiency of an ECM. Installation is a snap.  How is the RESCUE EcoTech motor to be connected?

  • The RESCUE EcoTech motor is set up as a constant torque motor. Each speed tap has been adjusted to have the torque to match the typical strength needed for the cooling and heating mode for different HP applications.
  • By adjusting the strength of each tap, we get a motor that can cover a range of HP and the flexibility to adjust to various home conditions.
  • RESCUE EcoTech motor keeps it simple. Using the same connections on the furnace board as the PSC motor, making the attachment for cooling and heating leads. The red lead is for the continuous fan/circulation speed, if desired.

Maxitrol has upgraded the 325-5 series for 2 psi systems. The new models offer higher capacities while using the same regulator body size as the original 325-5A series. This allows the regulators to be used on a wider range of applications without needing extra space for installation.

The new 325-5 appliance regulators have a capacity of 325,000 Btu/h and replace the 325-5A. The new 325-5L line pressure regulators feature a capacity of up to 600,000 Btu/h and replace the 325-5AL. The new 325-5 and 325-5L will be available September 1, 2013.

The 325-5L series with OPDs, for 5 psi systems, also have a change in model number, but the capacities will remain the same. The 325-5AL48 is now the 325-5L48, and the 325-5AL600 is being replaced by the 325-5L600. These model number changes go into effect September 1st.

Use the electrolyte sensor or UV technology (or both at the same time) to detect HFC, HCFC and HFO refrigerants, including SNAP approved hydrocarbon blends.

The Smart Alarm LED shows how big or small a leak is on a scale of one to nine. With the electrolyte sensor, UV lights and Smart Alarm™ indicator, this is the only tool you need for fast, easy and certain leak detection.

The ultra-sensitive sensor of the YELLOW JACKET AccuProbe UV Handheld Leak Detector allows it to detect even the most difficult to detect R-134a, R-404A, R-407C, R-410A and 1234yf refrigerants. Our exclusive solid electrolyte sensor technology reduces heat and gives the sensor longer life than traditional heated anode or heated diode detectors.

The AccuProbe UV features low, normal and high sensitivity levels with visual and audible signals, and a 3 LED UV light system that works with 395-415nm wavelength leak tracing dyes. The audible alert, which can also be muted, and the flashing visual alarm indicator at the probe end increase in frequency and duration as concentration increases.

The AccuProbe UV is equipped with the advanced digital SmartAlarm LED display. This feature takes the guesswork out of whether or not to repair a small leak. Unlike the more traditional LED bar graphs that copy or mimic the audio alarm signal, the SmartAlarm digital leak size indicator measures, registers and displays the leak size independently from both the audio alarm and sensitivity level on a scale of one to nine:

  • 1 to 3 – less than 0.1 oz./yr.
  • 4 to 6 – 0.1 to 0.5 oz./yr.
  • 7 to 9 – more than 0.5 oz./yr.
