ASHRAE 52.2 test of 3.0 to 10.0 micron particles performed at 492 FPM. 99% deactivation rate of captured particles passing through the system only when air cleaner is powered and system fan is running. Testing performed at third party labs on certain virus and bacteria applied to filter disks and then exposed to an electric field. Tested virus show a reduction of virus numbers of greater than 99% by 8 hours of exposure. Tested bacteria show a reduction of bacteria numbers of greater than 99% by 24 hours. Organisms tested: human and avian influenza virus, human cold virus surrogate, and others. Test available upon request.
